      The solution below is a really constrained (only on Windows, only IE, 
only with putty and only putty put on the root of the C: drive).
I would think a simple ssh://host.domain.name link would suffice.
And if possible rdp:// http:// vnc:// and maybe smb:// links should 
accompany the ssh entry.
And the drop down menu would be perfect, it shouldn't take too much 
space, but be available.

Yes :-)
now we are using Observium for inventory and now i must find specific 
switch in Observium, copy link or opne NEw Tab and get Config.
What about space nex to RAW DATA
