So the difference between boxes is the following:

Old box:  Centos 6, rrdtool v1.3.8
New Box: Centos 7  rrdtool v1.4.8

Can difference in rrdtool version cause problems with graphs not drawing ?

Oh god, don't start adding things to an install that already doesn't work. This is the opposite of fixing the problem.

You can get errors from rrdtool by going to the graph browser and using the "rrd command" option :

Thanks for advice Lukasz but i never had rrdcached running on my old box.

I will research on how to set up rrdcached correctly.  Does anyone have a guide ?

Hi
I had similar issue and it was related to rrdcached. Check if service is running.

Hi,

I recently restored observium to a different machine.  I restored the following:

config.php
mysql db
rrd

Everything looks good except for the fact that graphs stopped drawing and display data in a real time.  When i click on port to see real time data, i get "can't get data about port xxx".  See attached images.

Any ideas ?

Thanks
