Here are some patches I made to my Observium install.
http://puther.home.xs4all.nl/observium-rebooted-fix.diff Only show rebooted systems on front page when uptime > 0 For SNMP-agents that do not report uptime (EMC VNX5300 for one)
http://puther.home.xs4all.nl/observium-axis.diff Also detects Axis video servers.
http://puther.home.xs4all.nl/observium-dell-unix-sn.diff Detect Dell servicetag as serialnumber through dell MIB on "unix" systems,
http://puther.home.xs4all.nl/observium-dell-windows.diff Detect Dell systems and servivcetag the same way as on "unix"
http://puther.home.xs4all.nl/observium-esx-linux.diff Access VMware mibs through net-snmp using config from http://www.vmware.com/pdf/vsp_4_snmp_config.pdf
http://puther.home.xs4all.nl/observium-procurve-sn.diff Get serial-number for HP switches.
http://puther.home.xs4all.nl/observium-rename-host.diff Improvements to command-line rename-host
Can these be include in Observium? THNX!
BTW: can you also include Paul Gear's paul@libertysys.com.au patch for non-FQDN rancid? http://libertysys.com.au/patches/observium/observium-r2339-rancid-non-fqdn.patch
And the fortigate patches from Matthias Cramer which matthias.cramer@iway.ch i've made available for download on http://puther.home.xs4all.nl/observium-fortigate.diff and http://puther.home.xs4all.nl/observium-fgt-proc.diff
