Hi Adam,

For what it’s worth I’ve just rebooted the box and now all my BGP peers (on other routers) are displaying incorrectly (uptime of 0s, no updates etc…)

Well, I am very confused. I've tested the bgp add/update code, and it's working.

Do you not perchance have two databases or something? :D

It never tries to insert the rows, so it's finding them already in the database!

Ok, and discovery?

./discovery.php -h 58 -m bgp-peers -d

Hmm. Nothing strange in there.

You can try :

SELECT * FROM `bgpPeers` WHERE `device_id` = '58';

That should return 20 rows or so.

./poller.php -h <device_id> -m bgp-peers -d -r >> derp.txt

Hmm. Well that is incredibly strange.

The device page runs this query :

    $device_routing_count['bgp'] = dbFetchCell("SELECT COUNT(*) FROM `bgpPeers` WHERE `device_id` = ?", array($device['device_id']));

So it should see the same sessions that the poller sees.

They're definitely in the database. Are you sure you're looking at the correct device in the web interface? :D

Hello,

We are running Observium professional 0.16.1.7407 and we have an issue with BGP session discovery on a Juniper MX104 (dual RE), running discovery against the device displays the fact there are numerous bgp sessions but not a single session appears under the device in the Observium WebUI.

I have removed and re-added the device from Observium to no effect.
