Howdy Adam, et al.,
So I deployed a couple of Win2019 servers yesterday and of course added
them to my monitoring.... and they are being shown as Win 2016 servers.
Checked the poller debug of WMI and that's correctly indicating... but
I suspect Microsoft's choice to still call it NT 6.3 may be throwing
things off.
From module system:
o sysDescr Hardware: Intel64 Family 6 Model 63 Stepping 2
AT/AT COMPATIBLE - Software: Windows Version 6.3 (Build 17763
Multiprocessor Free)
From module os:
o OS Poller OS
o Hardware Intel x64
o Version Server 2016 (NT 6.3)
o Features Multiprocessor
From module wmi:
WMI Poller:
Windows version updated: Server 2019 Standard (10.0.17763)
Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-2643 v3 @ 3.40GHz
I'm not even going to try to hack code on this one.
