[Observium] Cannot get nginx perf graphs to show up

From observium box, I try telnet 192.168.10.101 36602

which is my remote nginx server, dumps system info plus nginx section with some counters; Application section and graphs never show for this host. I have also enabled explicitly unix agent from the agents tab of the configuration page. Am I missing something ?
