Hi,

I am assuming that Linux 16.04 is Ubuntu 16.04.

If that's the case, you should upgrade the whole install as Ubuntu16.04 no longer receives updates besides security (ESM requires Ubuntu Advantage subscription, see https://ubuntu.com/about/release-cycle).

In any case, you should upgrade the server to something more recent, which brings a newer version of MariaDB.

Your currently installed MariaDB version 10.0.38 is older than the recommended minimum 10.2.7.
