Do you have all of that software installed on that server?

I think you may have misinterpreted the instructions.

Seems replying to mailing list posts isn't the only shortcut in evidence here... :D

Luca,

For that, you can compose a new e-mail to the list address - as now your e-mail shows up as a reply to the one you replied to.

Looks like the unix agent is working, but you have not installed any scripts so there's nothing to show...

Oggetto: Re: [Observium] Unix-agent not working at remote nodes

Hi Luca,

I'm not sure what this has to do with the "location changes" thread you replied to...

Try running the poller manually for one of the affected devices, i.e. ./poller.php -h <device>

There should be output of what's being received, or an error (connection refused or similar).

Hi all,

I've got an Observium vserver with Professional license, all working okay, but the Unix agent seems to work only for the localhost.
The remote machines are correctly inventoried and checked, a telnet on remote 36602/tcp port returns the values reading as it should do, but no relevant data in the node profiles.
The unix agent module has been enabled as in Device mode, but even the config.php line has been tried without luck.

Any ideas?
Thanks
Luca
