We have an APC Symmetra LX as our main battery backup, and we like it fine. Observium monitors temperature, battery capacity, phase 1 and 2 load, power frequency, runtime, current, and so forth. Monitors everything I can think I would need. It doesn't have a humidity sensor on it, but if it did, Observium would grab that too, as it does for one we have at another site that does have the sensor on it.

Hi All,

this is just an email to ask what people think about networked power supply?

whats the best brand in there mind?

what ones do you use?

but oversally, do they work with Observium?

can you monitor the currents and stuff correctly?

I’m looking at upgrading our very old APC one as it doesn’t support monitoring by SNMP, and wanted to see what people have or recommend

regards

Simon
