Yeah, this is originally what the billing module was written for, to track usage in a more granular fashion, but not really to tell anyone about it.

If you were very enterprising you could probably write something to extract the data from rrd periodically and send you an email.

I wondered if anybody has been able to setup alerts for port usage?
I would like to monitor a machines network port,
and if it goes above say 20GB worth of upload in like 3 weeks then alert me?
I think I might need the billing part of observium setup for this but im not sure?
