There is currently no pathway for data to get from things collected as "graphs" or "apps" outside of the entity system into the alert system.

To alert on these things, we'd probably need to build them their own infrastructure. To date there's always been better things to spend time on.

Not least because I hate the apps system and wish it would die in the fire of a thousand suns.

But maybe, one day.

Adam.

I know it is rude and not done to ask about it, but is there any progress on this part?

As pro user with multiple custom unix-agent apps, I catch myself looking for this more and more.

What is blocking the alerting system to use entities from apps? Maybe we could work something out.

Hi all,

I tried to search info online but I cannot find anything about it , I was wondering if I can build an Alert Check using Apache Hits greater of a value for example, or in general if I can do it with any App, can I?

Regards to all,

Simone
