I know developers hate this question, but I have to ask. Is there (or will be) an option to switch to former static dashboard? I guess part of users would prefer working popups over dynamic widgets. Don't go crazy on me, I know there is a lot of work over widgets, but I am just asking if there is a different option. Thanks

This is because of a limitation of the popup JavaScript libraries.

They all rely on scanning a page for tags and screaming events for them. This is not easily possible with dynamically loaded widgets, and didn't function at all properly.

This was discussed here when these changes first went into rolling.
