We use different severity levels based on business impact.

Medium,High,Low. Both for Urgency and Impact

 

Information from room monitors might first trigger a warning , alert, then critical

We have equipment that needs to be monitored but we can operate without it so we might not want to raise a critical ticket

 

Since it is not on the plan we will figure out how best to implement some kind of 3rd party translation over to our severity level

I don't think there currently are any short term plans - the important question would be:

 

What do you expect to happen differently when you choose another severity level? :-)
