Perhaps your QNAP version doesn't support the same things Tom's does?

Did you give him SNMP access to yours to test?

./discovery.php -h <host>

you can also run a specific module :

./discovery.php -h <host> -m <module>

Modules are like ports, sensors, etc. Host can be the numeric device_id, or the hostname that observium uses.

If you update Observium now and re-run discovery, you should see system fans, HDD temperature and HDD status as well.

Found the issue, QNAP serial number is now being displayed since r6750.
