[Observium] Observium API / CE 0.16.1.7533

Hello,

sorry for a maybe stupid question but I searched the Observium docs and FAQs and tried to search the mailing lists archive but latest was not available because the link to 'observium Archivs' on mailman's web interface leads to a 404. Is there an API to Observium and if is there a doc anywhere? Maybe I'm blind but I cannot find any related information if I inserted 'API' in the search field of the Obeservium docs. Google finds some pages that talk of " $config['api']['enabled'] = 1;" and/or query strings for an api.php - I do not even have an api.php in my observium installation. Some Observium values should be made available through a CRM and an API might be a smooth solution. Any tipps appreciated!
