Yes, that would be a great feature to add. I know you are anti new tools at this time, but NEDI is pretty good at it.

Yes, we already make extensive use of the php-weathermap plugin with some code modifications to better support php7.
What we are looking for is something that will dynamically draw a network relationship map using XDP data, with the ability to limit the scope to a defined set of devices.
Weathermap is good for showing network utilization of infrastructure networks (well understood, defined use and good documentation) but not so useful for our ad-hoc or campus stuff (so yeah we don’t know what
this switch in this cupboard is for but if it goes off this breaks etc).

The same weathermap plugin used for libre works for Observium. I run it

Hello,
This is a feature we would find very useful, a dynamic network map that can be confined to a defined group of switches (e.g. from LibreNMS
https://docs.librenms.org/Extensions/Network-Map/ ).
Is this something Observium can already do? Or something that could be added?
We are currently using Observium Enterprise (20.2.10291) and have zero interest in also running LibreNMS (or anything else) but this is feature we would really appreciate.
The use case we are trying to address is the new on boarding of campus networks previously run by local IT that now fall under our remit (often with little or very poor or just wrong documentation).
Regards
