In 5909 I'm still seeing this issue.  Nothing is being correctly polled/graphed and hasn't been for a month.

Alerts are still working fine but....

I make small change in r5901 (revert global var removed in 5884).
Please check with this revision.

(But if this will fix your problem, I'll be shocked) :)
