The biggest gotcha I found was that you have to use a .conf suffix on the map configuration. If you don't the editor just loops you back to the creation screen without any errors. So it was a little frustrating to get going. But once I figured that out, it was pretty straight forward. It would be nice if the editor automatically filled out the HTML and Image location values in the map properties. But otherwise it works as advertised.

Hi Tomasz,
We use PHP weathermap.
I used this blog to get started (it was mentioned in this mailing list a while back):
http://blog.best-practice.se/2014/07/using-php-weathermap-with-observium.htm...
It was a lot of work to get it looking nice, but I’m very happy with the final result.

Is there an easy way to have weathermaps in observium?
