svn up doesn’t do anything if you didn’t install from svn J

You need to follow the migration process to switch to an SVN-maintained install.

Subject: [Observium] Unable to upgrade subscription

Hello,

I have the community version and am trying to upgrade to the subscription which i have just paid for. I am getting the following error.

Skipped '.'
Summary of conflicts:
  Skipped paths: 1

or

svn switch https://svn.observium.org/svn/observium/branches/stable
svn: E155007: '/opt/observium' is not a working copy

Can anyone please help me and let me know why the upgrade doesnt work and how to resolve it?
