Re: [Observium] SSD for better performance
Its the android mail client. It has no config options. Might switch to something else.

Hi,
Can a device be a part of more that one “Location”? I have a device “Device A” and I want it to show up in both “Location A” and “Location B”. Is that possible? Maybe by putting a comma seperated value in the syslocation field?
Also, it would be very handy to have a “Note” field on a device to put in some free-form text.
Regards,
Michael
Hi,
Sorry, not possible.
Regarding note, could be done, but where would you want it displayed?

It seems we really need introduce some kind tags. I understand location it pretty much limited, but at some point many users will be bumped into such problem when want group devices but can't use type nor location.

Ah yes. We utilize another product that allows you to create a list of tags, and then assign multiple tags to a device. You can then group/search/etc by tag. It works like a peach.

Hi,
Well, looking at the current page layout, it seems to me to make the most sense to put a note field under the “Logs” tab next to “Event log” and “Syslog”. Or maybe even under the device edit tab next to “Device Settings” or “SNMP”.
Regards,
Michael
