Hi there!
I'm a quite new user of observium and i think its a really nice tool to keep a collected view of my network.
I've done a couple of hacks on observium to get it working better in our enviorment that i would like to contribute upstream. I haven't seen any doc on how you would like contributions done so I'm just attaching them here as git-format-patch on top of latest community edition of observium, md5sum of tarball: 887e9ec061a751c0cb96fc5b774aa392 observium-community-latest.tar.gz
If you have any other preferred way of getting contributions, just tell me.

0001, 0002 - fixed but already reported in http://jira.observium.org/browse/OBSERVIUM-963 http://jira.observium.org/browse/OBSERVIUM-964 (and your patches have some bugs) ;)
Other pathes about LLDP, please report in jira and attach debug output for module *discovery-protocols:
*./discovery.php -d -m discovery-protocols -h any-lldp-host*

We don't use git. We only accept patches as wgettable "svn diff" patch format.
Normally we won't accept patches from CE, because it's usually months out of date, but at the moment it's not /too/ ancient.
Also, JIRA is better than here.
