With a fresh install - seeing quite a few cases like below — odd Y axis legend. The values are roughly at 2.2 and 2.0 and only happen for some ranges.
Not sure if this is an old or new problem. Fair to assume this is purely something RRD related/bug ?

this is seems as trouble with your rrdtool. This old problem and fixed long time ago (by -Y flag in rrd graph cmd).
Which version of rrdtool you use?
I have a similar graphs, where all fine (and I not found any graphs with such trouble):

This is just standard rrdtool behaviour. It's not always the smartest at picking meaningful scales.
