Hello list,
I have a couple of MRV LX4000 console servers that I added to Observium. I do not care much about port utilisation but it is nice to know if one drops off the radar and get an alert. However, the boxes are not recognised by Observium and get this ugly question mark icon in the device list.
A quick Google did not reveal anything related to these boxes and Observium, did anyone play around with adding these devices and get them recognised properly? They basically run a BusyBox Linux...
Regards, Rutger

What exactly bothered you? Question mark icon or what? If you don't need special feature from it this is fine to monitor generic device
