This is a notification about an important change!

In some cases, Observium sends out alert emails upon events. While we always advised to disable these as they are mostly rubbish, they were, until now, enabled by default. They are now disabled, since revision 3406. This means that when you update you will no longer receive the alert emails.

If you want to keep receiving these alerts after you svn up to r3406 or higher, add this to your config.php:

$config['alerts']['email']['enable'] = TRUE

Hopefully we'll have a decent threshold/event/alert system soon; ideas about this are very welcome in our IRC channel.
