Custom Interface Port Speed
Hi list! I wonder f you could read my message. I´m very excited configuring observium, please anybody can help me with this issue?

I wonder if I could set specific speed value for a port of my router when at present I have connected my 6 Mbps internet connection. It's not possible to modify the port speed, this is retrieved from the device via SNMP.

Hi,
What kind of device are you polling? If it involves an ATM connection, I believe those usually advertise the actual speed the DSL synced against. (I may be wrong)

Hi tom, thank you for respond to my question. The device is a catalyst switch. I have tried to modifi the speed of interface on mysql. When I access to observium fron web interface i, I can view the new speed but in the next pooling the interface show 100 Mbits again.
