If you plan to contribute other things, you should join our IRC channel on freenode, all development discussion happens there.
Also, we normally only take patches as wgettable HTTP URLs, as it's a pain to get email stuff onto dev servers. ;)

In the processors poller, you use a full textual OID with MIB, we try not to do that (because parsing the mib for every snmpget is expensive).
You should rather use the numeric OID to help performance.
