Hi ,
Can you please provide list of sample alert checkers? I tried to add OSPF status but didn't work. It would be handy if you have list of standard alert checkers this seems to be good one. But still missing important stuff http://www.maartenmoerman.nl/?p=612
Thanks, Sujith,

Hi Sujith,
Alerting on OSPF isn't currently possible, since OSPF's heath metrics aren't configured (you don't "configure" sessions as you do with other protocols).
The entities, metrics and assocations listed on http://www.observium.org/docs/attribs_metrics/ are the only things currently supported by the alerting system.

Is it possible to to create a check that monitors bfd session? Bfd often used together with igp, so that could be a good way to alert on igp flags s.

Hi , Any additional suggestions for this? I really want to start receiving ospf alerts. Monitoring links down alerts does not make much sense for carrier links as we do not see links goes hard down. Any suggestion is greatly appreciate it.
Thanks, Sujith.

Neither of these are not supported currently, you'll need to use a different syslog solution such as Splunk or Graylog
Apologies for not being clearer in my previous email, I meant that traps or syslog are they only real way of doing OSPF alerting in general.
