Hi All,
If anyone is using the ldap piece, I need your assistance.
When you navigate to users --> edit users, it says no users in database, then any navigation to any other link, it brings you to the login screen. Most of the time, it will never load the edit users page and you can no longer navigate anything. Closing the tab out on the browser doesn't help either. Observium becomes unresponsive.
Very rarely, it will actually show the users. It seems like something is clearing some cache in the background.
Anyone experiencing these issues with ldap?
Thanks, ----------------------- Leo Dano

Good morning all,
This is still an issue. Anyone using ldap having the same issue?

Im using the CE version and it is working - 16.1.7533 (Embedded image moved to file: pic24016.gif)
It sees all unix enabled users and shows the people who aren't in the admin group as disabled
$config['auth_ldap_groupbase'] = "ou=Court Groups,ou=network,o=fca"; $config['auth_ldap_groups']['Rights to Administer Observium']['level'] = 10;
sorry haven't been following the conversation, so may not be useful info
thanks

Thanks for the reply Peter. Anything helps. What is the user count in your organization. I am just wondering if it's timing out due to the company I work for has almost 30,000 employees. ----------------------- Leo Dano

no only 1200.
The php appears to load *EVERYTHING* into memory on page load.
If that's the case, maybe a memory buffer is full .... somewhere ... browser, server ?
I find it times out anyways and you need to reauthenticate. middle of opening tabs, clicking on anything - no specific trigger.
thanks
