Hopefully this is a newer feature, otherwise I totally overlooked this over the past year!

Is there a way to customize these connect commands? We have different usernames for our switches and linux boxes than the username that we log into Observium.
Hi Edward,
This is indeed a new feature. We're just working out how it should be done. At the moment we don't pass any username/password information at all, we expect the program handling the URI to do that.
I suppose we could add the ability to specify an SSH/SFTP password in the user's settings?

Maybe not so much a password, for security sake, but specifying a username would be great.
Thanks, Ed

Indeed, one wouldn't want to put passwords in the config :D

Well key is stored at your computer, so up to your security. And still much safer then store password in config, right? :-D

Just curious if any progress is being made or planned on customizing the ability to change the SSH username per device?
