Who's running Observium on distros that aren't Ubuntu/Debian/RHEL/CentOS?

Hi Guys,
Are any of you running Observium on distros which aren't the ones we recommend?
Did you have to do anything special?
I think we're probably way more friendly to non-debian distros now that we've lost a lot of legacy stuff!
Thanks, adam.

We run it on FreeBSD. Nothing special is required.

Oh, that is interesting.
Do you recall the install process?
Adam.

Also FreeBSD here.
Nothing special is required.
Well that's not entirely true since the binary live in /usr/local/bin and /usr/local/sbin. (I just saw this was fixed in the port so it only apply if you install from source https://svnweb.freebsd.org/ports/head/net-mgmt/observium/files/patch-include...) But everything else works more or less the same as described in the wiki. Oh and I need to change the cron thing a bit: https://gist.github.com/fliiiix/42ba57cc4a8c11d11eb1
Do you recall the install process?
Installing the package/port https://freshports.org/net-mgmt/observium/ Install apache and mysql follow the instructions in the observium wiki
Works flawless and stable for me.

True story about path differences; though since its mostly fixable in the configuration file, I wasn't sure that qualified as special anymore. I have a vague recollection of issues with things that were hard-coded to /opt at one point, but I think that has all been fixed for awhile (or was a figment of my imagination).

Installing the port is the quickest and easiest way to get going, as that will install any dependencies as well. The port tracks the community edition (the port semi-abandoned for awhile, but has been keep updated again lately I believe). Switching over to the paid version is easy enough, just make sure to delete the port first or use a different location than the default /usr/local/www/observium. If you come back later to delete the port, it will remove any files under that path which have not changed from what the port has installed.
Works flawless and stable for me.

SLES 11 , but the recent licence changes mean that we are looking elsewhere.
So we are investigating openSUSE vs ubuntu vs CentOS - we prefer virtual appliances, but where we can't get that, we try to stick with rpm based distros.
