Hi people,
How can I use alert checks to monitor host latency?
Thanks in advance.
Regards,
Hi,
use this page to check values you can use for the alerts
http://observium.org/wiki/Alerting_Metrics_and_Attributes
however i don’t see a variable for latency so it might not be possible ?
i could be completely wrong, so anybody else, ideas???

Hi Simon,
I think "device_ping (response in ms)" can work. I will test here.
Thanks!

device_ping device_snmp
Allow you to match against ping latency and SNMP response time.
Not sure why you'd want to match SNMP response time, but there you go.
