Hello,

Is it possible to extend the functionality for the Cisco Wireless Controller, currently it is a bit scantily.

...don't forget that you can already see the number of active wireless clients too:

It would be great to be able to monitor the APs and the channels in use (channels hop around due to Cisco "CleanAir") but I don't know if that data is exposed via SNMP.

Happy to provide SNMP walks etc. if anyone can help out.

Just a quick note to say thanks very much to whoever is extending the WLC support - the "WiFi" tab is already returning useful data and looks very promising.

Please let me know if you need any additional discovery/SNMP walks etc.

We are trying to help on this topic :)

Any extra help / motivation to keep up with this is appreciated. Right now, the missing parts for our needs are: - Connected user devices graphs - AP device Uptime graphs - AP device Availability graphs - AP Ethernet interface usage (this is the tricky one, which may need to be removed from the AP wifi tab and added to the ports of the WLC) - AP status alerts

Hi Sergio,

If you talk to landy, he might help you implement the parts he can do.

Some of this stuff is still on my list too, when I stop being scared of trying to do the ports stuff. I don't think it belongs in normal ports, but per-AP.
