There's a fix for this in SVN now. I've added code to use ifHighSpeed if ifHighSpeed is greater than ifSpeed (as it is in this case, and should never been in cases where ifSpeed is correct)

Returning "10" for ifSpeed is strange behaviour, and the cause of this bug.
I'm not sure how one should handle that! Perhaps via an OS-specific knob.

There's a fix for this in SVN now. I've added code to use ifHighSpeed if ifHighSpeed is greater than ifSpeed (as it is in this case, and should never been in cases where ifSpeed is correct)

Hmm.
Returning "10" for ifSpeed is strange behaviour, and the cause of this bug.
I'm not sure how one should handle that! Perhaps via an OS-specific knob.

No. It's the fault of the guy who decided they should return "10" in ifSpeed rather than the standard convention of returning the maximum value.
We switch to ifHighSpeed when we see a maximum value returned in ifSpeed. I'm not sure what we should do here. It's a vendor bug for sure.

In realtime scale is auto expanded (by max values), it not related with ifSpeed.

Hi,
Sounds like ifSpeed is a 32bit value. 10Gbps written in bps is larger than the maximum value supported by 32bit. If that’s the case I would guess that there is no vendor out there that can put the correct value for a 10Gbps interface in here.
Cheers, Roman

I have a simular issue with a cisco switch.
If you look at the real time graph of the port is the scale correct?

Yes, this is the purpose of ifHighSpeed, to get around the 32-bit limitation.
Normally when ifSpeed overruns it's set to the maximum value, and we switch to ifHighSpeed. In this case the vendor has very helpfully decided to return a non-maximum value for ifSpeed, complicating the method needed to decide wether we should use ifSpeed or ifHighSpeed.
