Hello,
I updated my Ubuntu from 18.04 to 20.04 and my Observium wont update devices events anymore. Services are up, but where I should search problem?
I have latest updates from Observium (20.21.10924)

I had a similar issue -- In our case I think it was graphs not updating, but devices still reporting as up.
We ended up just running the poller (that's usually run via cron) by hand and looking at the output. I believe there were a couple of missing dependencies that we needed to install relating to python and mysql. But, it's been several months so my recollection is a bit fuzzy.

Yeah, this has probably resulted in a broken python installation. The python guys are pro-tier experts in breaking things.
It might be fixable by finding the Ubuntu 20.04 package list in our install guide and making sure they’re all installed, or you might have to manually remove old python packages.
Adam.

Suggested packages: python3-mysqldb-dbg python-pymysql-doc The following packages will be REMOVED: python-is-python2 The following NEW packages will be installed: python-is-python3 python3-mysqldb python3-pymysql?
Those packages was problem. After that, polling works very good.

I think RANCID is also written in python, so it’s probably broken somehow.
RANCID isn’t made by us though :)
