Hi all,
Question: Is there a way to map a sensor to another sensor class? Currently I have a sensor that shows up as a temperature sensor which in fact is a humidity sensor. Would be great if I can map the sensor or OID value as humidity.
With kind regards,
David Disclaimer ( http://www.avans.nl/over-avans/e-mail-disclaimer )
David,
No, this is not possible. However, it's either a bug in the device, or a bug in Observium - if it's the latter, it needs to be fixed :-)

Hi David, if you share with us some debug info from the discovery.php-script we can probably tell where the bug is and if its a Observium-bug have it fixed :) /Markus

Hi Markus,
I don’t know if it is a bug. The device is weird as well doing weird OID-value stuff… It’s a Severscheck sensor which is supported as far as I have seen.
My debug output is here: http://pastebin.com/tJJ0ZeGM
The values I am having issue with is: .1.3.6.1.4.1.17095.3.9.0 "Humidity1" .1.3.6.1.4.1.17095.3.10.0 "38.54" .1.3.6.1.4.1.17095.3.10.0 "38.54" These are recognized as Temperature, not as humidity sensors.
What is a little “bug”: Serverscheck equipment lack the icon. The definition of the sensorgateways is written, but the png is forgotten in /html/images/os directory.
Regards,
David

Hi David,
Can you share with me on how you pulled the sensor as Im with Observium 0.16.11 version unable to pulled all my servercheck sensors like previous version. Its only pulled internal temperature only.
Thank you.
