You can replace the old deprecated alert boxes by a table listing your current alerts on the front page, which will honour your alert checker settings. I'm not sure what the stanzas are though... :-/

Erf, I didn’t explain myself properly.

I meant the red squares on the overview and the logs messages that says a device is down. I believe this is embedded behavior.

We don't have any built in alerts...

You can delay your checker, that's what the 'delay' field is for. 0 = immediate, 1 = 5min delay, 2 = 10min, etc.
