Ok, I see that Pushover is now a contact method. Great!
Erm, how do I make it work? I've tried creating a new application and putting the API token in the "Destination" field, but it doesn't appear to work that way. What goes in the Destination field?

from the CLI do: ./rename_device.php <old hostname> <new hostname>
RRDs and database-entries and everything you need will be properly renamed.

Hi Tim,
We're still working on the contact data UI, so for now it's a bit of a kludge.
The destination needs to be as follows:
token::TOKEN||user::USER
Things in capitals are things you need to fill out. That's "Application API token" and "User or group key (not e-mail address)"
Let me know whether that works out - The new contact transport system is awesome (and I hope you agree after you see Pushover working) ;)

Yes, that worked great :). Thanks!
I've created feature request 1456 ( http://jira.observium.org/browse/OBSERVIUM-1465) with a couple of minor additions, but this is great.

Hi Tim,
Yeah, I saw those options too but wanted to get the baseline working and then... kinda left it there for a while. I've assigned the ticket to myself as I use Pushover myself too.

Doesn't seems working for me.
Also is there way to send test notification? Kinda tired to force notification to test new methods

Then you broke it ;>
test_alert.php is in Observium root and takes an alert ID (unique combo checker<>entity, click on properties of an alert and it will be in the URL); it will send an alert if the alert ID is currently in error, or a recovery if it's currently in OK.
