Hello, Is it possible to monitor devices by ICMP, we want to have IP availability of a devices that have no snmp activated

This is possible by adding “check_icmp” probes to the Observium server entry in Observium with CLI options set to point it at the device you want to ping.

Thank you for your return, I've installed the "check_ping", "check_icmp" doesn't exist but i guess it's the same. now I can point it at the device already existing (added by snmp before), but our goal is to add new device without snmp by using check_ping only

Hello, Just a follow up on this matter please, we have a lot of production devices not monitored because they don't have an snmp activated.

Add -H and IP/hostname to the query string. All options that are in nagios plugins are available there
