is it possible for observium to sort devices/ports by interface errors, discards etc?

Why would you want to SORT on errors?
We do have a separate section that only shows errored ports.

i know you can go under ports and press "Eists >> Errors"
but with +1000 ports this will involve some scrolling and manual noticing of which graphs has red lines in them.
It would be nice if you could press "sort high to low" or something.

What's wrong with just opening the list of ports with errors? No scrolling needed.
They are also detailed on the front page if you enable this.
Not sure why more errors should be higher than less errors, as 0 errors should be situation normal ;)

in my installs the "Lists >> Errors" or even if I from the dropdown under "ports" choose errors, it still gives me all my ports. Hence the scrolling part.
tested on rev. 4202

It will only show errors in the last 5 minutes, at some point I will find a way of remembering.

Hi,
I don't know what Lists >> Errors" even is, but clicking "Errored (6)" under Ports gives me a list of 6 ports with errors.
I was looking for that link but couldn't find it, until I realised that it only shows when there actually are ports with errors. Guess I have nothing to worry about :-)
Cheers, Sander

We can't "remember" errors, you only see ports with error counters that incremented in the past 5 minutes.
I need to put something in there to record when we /last/ saw errors, so we can show you ports that saw error counter increment in the past x hours.
I think that would be much more useful.
