All interfaces on Brocade FESX series disappeard (rev 5390)
Hello,
I just figured that since last week, all interfaces on our Brocade FESX switches disappeared. In the eventlog, I do see entries like this:
2014-04-25 11:15:47 Gi3 Interface was marked as DELETED 2014-04-25 11:15:47 Gi2 Interface was marked as DELETED 2014-04-25 11:15:47 Gi1 Interface was marked as DELETED
Since then, I do receive these log-entries related to virtual ethernet interfaces (vlan-interfaces) every few hours until now:
2014-04-27 02:20:30 v26 IPv4 added: X.Y.220.61/ 2014-04-26 20:20:20 v26 IPv4 removed: X.Y.220.61/0 2014-04-26 20:20:20 v26 IPv4 added: X.Y.220.61/ 2014-04-26 14:20:31 v26 IPv4 removed: X.Y.220.61/0 2014-04-26 14:20:31 v26 IPv4 added: X.Y.220.61/ 2014-04-26 08:20:32 v26 IPv4 removed: X.Y.220.61/0 2014-04-26 08:20:31 v26 IPv4 added: X.Y.220.61/ 2014-04-26 02:20:28 v26 IPv4 removed: X.Y.220.61/0 2014-04-26 02:20:28 v26 IPv4 added: X.Y.220.61/ 2014-04-25 20:28:19 v26 IPv4 removed: X.Y.220.61/0 2014-04-25 20:28:19 v26 IPv4 added: X.Y.220.61/ 2014-04-25 14:24:23 v26 IPv4 removed: X.Y.220.61/0 2014-04-25 14:23:07 v26 IPv4 added: X.Y.220.61/ 2014-04-25 12:23:57 v26 IPv4 removed: X.Y.220.61/0 2014-04-25 12:23:57 v26 IPv4 changed: X.Y.220.61/26 -> X.Y.220.61/
I am not sure if this is related to the latest svn update or if something changed in our observium-configuration.
Any hint is appreciated.
Kind regards,
Julian
Hello,
Found the problem by comparing our configs to the ones in SVN:
< $config['snmp']['max-rep'] = FALSE; // allow use of -Cr in snmpbulkwalk vastly increasing walk speed ---
$config['snmp']['max-rep'] = TRUE; // allow use of -Cr in
snmpbulkwalk vastly increasing walk speed
The interfaces are now back. Nevermind :)
Kind regards,
Julian
