Hi all,
we've just updated this morning to the latest version 18.5.9221 (10th May 2018) and see that the iconset has changed. It looks very strange... ports are now using a Yellow ! Attention, Profil Menue (right top) a temperature icon, BGP Icon is now a paper clip?!
Are you sure you want to keep them? They look so mismatched in Observium. Is there any way to get the old iconset back? They looked much much more better than the current one :/
Mit freundlichem Gruß Stadtwerke Norderstedt

Try a Ctrl+Shift+R (or Ctrl+F5) in your browser to force it to reload the images instead of pulling them from cache.
I've seen that behaviour a number of times and this seems to fix it consistently.
Cheers,
Michael

Directly after updating your cache is usually messed up if you were already logged in to Observium prior to the update. Try Ctrl+F5 to reload without cache.

Hello,
the „BUG" of caching images (data) exists for a very long time and the browser vendors (mainly Netscape/Firefox) never ever fixed that. I am working with SNMP since 2002 and it seems that this „bug" will never be fixed. Sometimes setting internal cache to 0 MB (disabling it) helps, sometimes you have to restart your browser complete. And do a reload again and again. Don’t know how often i hit CTRL-R…. to be fair, sometimes the problem can be solved on the webpage which can announce when data will be outdated. For network monitoring „outdated“ mean „immediately“. The second is, whether your browser will follow the recommendation.
And one more to consider; squid et al are also doing their very best to deliver old data. ;-)
As in dilberts random number generator: "You can never be sure.“
