Hi Guys, I am new to Observium and so far have found it to be very interesting and would like to know if it is possible to extend the MIBs that are used to include Mitel equipment. I have the MIBs and have uploaded them to the MIB direectory but am not sure how/if I can include these in the discovery/polling so that I get all the info from our Mitel PBXes available via these MIBs.
Regards, Gerry

MIBs aren't what you think they are. :)

Adam, I have knowledge of PHP so I guess I will wade through the code to see where I can add the coverage for my products.
Thanks, Gerry

Gerry,
Be sure to check the documentation regarding development and coding styles.
http://www.observium.org/wiki/Developing_for_Observium
When copying existing code, check other modules doing the same thing, to make sure you're copying the cleanest style
For example, some of the early CPU discovery/poller modules use a much messier design than the later ones.
We also have an IRC channel on OFTC, it's often a good idea to check things there to make sure you're not doing something wrong.
