Hello list.
As the topic suggests. My enviroment somewhat relies on ports in the network having a interface description, graphing, billing, provisioning, rancid, and a few other stuffs gets activated whenever a description get set. I would like Observium to behave in such manner aswell - ive put up a feature request on this in Jira but now that ive read up abit more i realise that this could possible be achieved through the built-in filters. Has anyone built a smart regexp or something with the already available filters? We run a juniper-setup with alot of pretty beefy routers so there is about 600 interfaces on each machine, where i would like to graph at tops 100 of them, the 100 with a description :)
And thanks for a great monitoring tool!
