I observe (pun not intended) that on our Arista switches, unlike the Cisco NX9ks we run, Observium isn’t able to collect per-VLAN traffic stats. This is kind of a problem for us… Arista’s willing to help diagnose, but wants to know what MIB trees are being polled to gather this info. Can anyone tell me what MIBs / OID trees Observium is looking for? Thanks, -Adam

On Cisco we’re just collecting the ifTable entries for layer 3 SVIs.
I’d assume Arista would expose the same for layer 3 VLAN interfaces.
I don’t think we collect layer 2 data.
Adam.

Just FYI, we finally found the problem. Arista doesn't even collect counters for SVIs, by default. And even then, is currently only capable of collecting ingress counters, not egress. Colour me unimpressed, considering what this hunk of metal cost us... Once I get ingress + egress counters working, Observium should pick them up automatically from the usual place (ifTable). -Adam
