First time I've seen this. It showed up once today, and once on 24 Nov. I would expect an error like this to happen every time this ran or not at all. What is this?

Well, since you don't say where the "error" appeared, i'm going to guess it's in syslog somewhere, and it's some anti-rootkit scanner you're running.
Try to include at least the minimum amount of information with questions, eh?

Hi Tarik,
We don't have a VAT number, since we're not required under UK law to collect with VAT. This confuses a lot of Europeans, since most EU countries don't have the high VAT threshold we have in the UK.
If you're purchasing through Paddle, you'd need to use Paddle's VAT number in any event, since the financial transaction is with them, and not directly with Observium Limited. (they collect the VAT and distribute it to the relevant EU country, since the EU ruined the VAT regulations a few years ago)
Also, please do not hijack mailing list threads. Create new emails, don't reply to someone else's question. It's incredibly rude, and incredibly annoying.

Yes, this appears in the syslog of the CentOS box running Observium. There's not much installed on that box; it's just running Observium and some file shares. I'm not really too concerned since I haven't noticed any real problems from it, just wondering if it was something others have had and if it could develop in to a problem.
