Hi,
I have just noticed that the Neighbours option has disappeared under the Ports Tab for some of the devices we monitor via Observium; this looks to have happened after upgrading to version 0.11.10.2654. Is it something to do with my upgrade or is there something broken.
The issue is that some do display the Neighbours Option on the same version so I am at odds about what is wrong.
By the way, I have not disabled CDP on these device so that is not the problem.
Regards, Bruce

Hi,
That's probably something I broke while trying to fix a related problem.
Can you provide me (in private if you wish) with the output of
snmpwalk -v2c -c community yourdevice -M /opt/observium/mibs -m CISCO-CDP-MIB cdpCache
for one of the devices that lost its links.
Thanks, Tom

Tom,
Does this issue only affects CDP or both CDP and LLDP?
Only CDP. Is it still not fixed with the latest revision?

Hi Tom,

Might be fixed in 0.11.10.2656 now?
Tom
Hi Tom,
I have upgraded to the latest version but the issue is not resolved yet. Should I poll the device/s concerned? I will send you the output of the command you requested ealrier. Thanks.

The fix seems to have worked for adam - links are found on discovery, so you should run discovery on the device to see if the issue really is resolved.
Tom
Oh yes! I forgot to run the discovery. Thanks Tom; it is fixed now.

Hmmm, the change only fixed a couple of the devices. There are devices that still do not work even after running the discovery on them. The ones that were sort of fixed abfter the change; do not show all their neighbours like they did previously :-(.

Thanks for the dump, I hope it is now fixed properly in 2657.
