This is not an error of ours. If you lose connection in the middle of a discovery run, it'll remove things from your devices, and then readd them on the next run.

Observium is focused on stable, carrier-grade networks. To implement the kind of checking we'd need to handle intermittent connectivity outages would make it even harder for us to scale on large installations.

BTW, the building you work in is probably named after this town (presumably by way of some american connection) :
