I've just completed a new install of Observium, version 0.16.1.7535 (27th January 2016), and have a couple of questions in hopes that someone can point me to the correct debugging process.

1) The mac address information on the port is of the port itself, rather than the connected device. We are strictly Cisco in our switching, most are 2960 variety with some 3750 and 3850 mixed in. I see in the demo software, the mac address on the port pages shows that of the client. Also, several months ago, we ran a small version of Observium (since decommissioned) and the client mac populated.

2) Auto discovery based on CDP seems really sporadic, several neighbors will be added, but some will not. SNMP settings are the same across the board and CDP discovered neighbors can be added manually without issue.

Is there any chance someone has come across these before?
