Hi.
I have a switch "Lenovo RackSwitch G8332" that observium doesn't support. Observium is capable to monitoring all the interfaces but it marks as a Generic Device. Another model of Lenovo RackSwitch (G8052) is working properly.
How we can add this model in observium?
Thank you in advance,
Albert

Hi Albert,
Are you using the Pro or the CE version?
Can you give us the sysObjectID for the generic and the recognized switches?
You can find this if you go to the device's page -> cog icon -> device data.

Hi Tom,
First of all congratulations with this product. I have started to use and it seems like it has all that I need.
Now, I am testing the CE version.
sysObjectID => .1.3.6.1.4.1.20301.1.7.12 sysDescr => Lenovo RackSwitch G8332
sysObjectID => .1.3.6.1.4.1.19046.1.7.24 sysDescr => Lenovo RackSwitch G8272
I have another model that it works properly but it appears as IBM and it was sold to Lenovo.
sysObjectID => .1.3.6.1.4.1.26543.1.7.7 sysDescr => Lenovo RackSwitch G8052
Thank you in advance.
