BGP View in Observium: missing AS-Name resolution and searchability

Hello,
In the BGP-View of Observium, we are missing the AS-Name resolution. In earlier revisions the name of the AS was visible and searchable. This was a very convenient thing.

Maybe something is goofed up with our configuration? Has anyone else noticed this?
Kind regards, Fabian

Dear
We logged a case for this as well but it seems this issue isn't related to observium, as resolving in RIPE was broken too (they had an outage last weekend)
At this moment it is working though.
Kind regards

Hi,
check from observium server such dns query:
$ host -t TXT AS42.asn.cymru.com
(instead 42 you can check any other AS number)
output should be like this (if RIPE or DNS service work correctly):
AS42.asn.cymru.com descriptive text "42 | US | arin | 2001-05-16 | WOODYNET-1 - WoodyNet, US"
And this is not our issue..

Hi Stef & Mike
with the Google-Nameservers 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 it could not resolve the TXT records for the AS-Names. With that Google-Servers it is still not working. I had to change our configuration to use different DNS-Servers and now it is resolving the AS-Names just fine as it was before.
Thanks for the Support!
Kind regards Fabian
